The church used to be a place where people would gather to pray to the harvest goddess, but as people stopped believing so faithfully in her, it has become a place people only go for weddings and funerals.

The plaza is a raised area that overlooks the ocean that is used most often for festivals and get-togethers. While the space is reserved a few days out of the year for town events, many times weddings and birthday parties are held on this picturesque spot!
