Justice was born the oldest of two fraternal twins to a single witch, whose summer lover had disappeared the moment the autumn leaves began to change. The son, when he grew old enough to realize the lacking paternal presence in his life, took this personally. Cynicism started young for him because of this, which then distanced him even further from other kids. Few ever saw him leave the family bathhouse for activities besides school. He invested himself solely in his studies, his work, and his family.

Though he does love his family dearly, Justice often finds himself constantly suspicious of two women. He feels as if, due to their magical orientation, they are hiding something from him that he will never be able to know. Even if this suspicion is entirely unfounded.
