history

aster grew up on sepalum with no father and a family flower shop. her mother was a florist, and aster grew up helping out at the shop. by the time she was sixteen, her mother's health took a turn for the worst, and aster was left largely with the resposiblity of the shop on her shoulders. she grew to resent the shop, but as their primary source of income, had no choice but to keep working.

recently, a fire destroyed the shop and killed her mother - who couldn't get out of their home upstairs in time. homeless, jobless, and motherless, aster moved in with her boyfriend and his father. merrill aster now farms and sells strawberries.
