history

her parents are marine biologists who are wacky, impulsive, and indecisive. they frequently move from place to place in order to observe the flora and fauna, or whatever. tate doesn't really know why they spend so much time looking at like, seaweed and stuff, but she doesn't really care. she's perfectly fine with moving around. she's sort of adventurous, and likes exploring. she's been to /so/ many different places, and she's a self proclaimed explorer, okay!! she loves to travel the world!! and now, she's going to explore this place!!

exploring is probably one of her favorite things to do in the whole wide world. she doesn't mind getting all rough and dirty, because her parents taught her to be a good little wild child. this also means that she's pretty damn tough, okay!! so don't think you can pull a prank on her or something, just because she's new around these parts!! she will mess you up, son!! (except not really, because most of the time she's all talk and no bite, unless you really piss her off.)

she's currently staying at the baccar inn, along with her mom and dad. it's nice and cozy in there, and she likes it. hm.

• for all her sass and talk, tate is actually only 4'9" tall. she acts like she's cool as hell, but if you just shoved her lightly she'd probably break a bone or something. likewise, she appears to be much younger than she is, and people often mistake her for a twelve year old and such. this doesn't even bother her, and sometimes she even tries to use it to her advantage.
  
  
• her favorite food? potatoes. potato products. mashed potatoes. baked potatoes. french.....fries........in case you haven't noticed by now, she's a real big glutton. she eats about 5 meals per day, and is constantly snacking. the secret to her fit physique? exploring!!
  
  
• tate's a high school graduate!! she's been homeschooled all her life, due to her constant travels. as is the case with many homeschooled kids, she finished her curriculum early, and received her diploma at age sixteen.
  
  
• she has a pet parrot, who's been with her ever since she was a baby. she doesn't even know its gender, but she calls it harry. it's practically her best friend, and follows her around everywhere, perched upon her shoulder. this makes tate feel really freakin' badass, like a pirate or something. (she's not badass though, and she's not a pirate, either.)
