history

Bee's mother wasn't ready for a child by any means, so when she became pregnant at the age of seventeen she made the difficult decision of giving her baby up. Shortly after Bee's birth she was put into foster care and bumped family to family for the majority of her childhood. When she was sixteen Bee was placed with an elderly couple that managed a ranch specializing in livestock -- they cared for cattle, sheep, alpaca, llamas, yaks; you name it, they had it. The arrangement was a very loving one, and Bee became very comfortable and affectionate toward her foster parents.

Some time later they officially adopted her, just before she was to turn eighteen and thus officially become independent. Bee finally had real parents before she would have been chucked from the foster care system, never to experience what it was like to have a family at all.

Unfortunately, Bee's adoptive parents passed away due to old age and the complications associated. They left their ranch to Bee, which she now tends to as if it had always been her own.
