history

he has been living on his own since he was fifteen. there was no real reason for it. that was just how his family worked. they did that to pretty much every delaney to the point that it didn't even seem strange. his family kicked him out at fifteen and he eventually managed to get his way to find enough money to pay for a room at the inn where he stayed for most of his teenage years. outside of that, there isn't very much to say about his past. around the time he was seventeen, he moved to the city in hopes of a change in pace where he eventually found himself with wife and child. his daughter had been a happy accident and was born in the summer of his eighteenth year.

he eventually came to marry his lovely girlfriend, arietta. he loved her after all and had intended to marry her from the very beginning anyways. however, she was unfortunately caught up in some gang trouble one fateful afternoon. and he had only found out after his daughter's school had to call him and tell him that his wife never came to get the girl. he was furious at the idea that no one could do anything to protect her. the police too had been unable to do anything for him. they couldn't bring her back although they did bring her killers to justice. something in him changed that day. he didn't want to let anyone feel as lost as he was after the death of his wife.

he entered the police academy and received all his training necessary. he didn't feel like it was safe for his daughter to continue growing up in the city. part in fear that something would happen to her too when he couldn't be with her. as a result, he picked up their things and they headed back to the sepalum peninsula. he presently has come back to live in the inn with his daughter as he starts to pick up things just where he left them. only difference is that he has no intention of kicking his daughter out when she's fifteen. he doesn't even understand why his parents did. not that he cares either way.

• he has an eight year old daughter that he has brought back with him to the sepalum peninsula. his daughter's name is michelle. she's the most precious person in his world although it's apparent that she isn't exactly adorable to everyone else.
  
  
• he likes wearing goggles. no real reason. but he just wears them mostly to shield his eyes from the sun. he doesn't do bright lights. is that such a bad thing?
  
  
• he's a chain smoker. he's been trying to kick his bad habit but at the same time he likes smoking to unwind. it's really frustrating considering the fact that he doesn't want to set a bad example for his daughter. maybe he needs some help.
  
  
• asher continues to wear his wedding ring from his first marriage. his wife only died only two years ago and he isn't very comfortable with letting it go so easily. he wears both of theirs on a chain, although he isn't very comfortable with letting other people know.
