visiting orion waters Going to the residential district was always dangerous, but Excisio loved a good challenge. He reveled in it. Probably why he was now sitting in the home of one Orion Waters...while he kept it hidden away how much he loved the goddess, the god knew. He just had a knack for reading people.
He knew that the man's wife would be out today for whatever reason (he only read people that he cared about speaking to, after all, as it was a bit tiring and difficult) so all he had to do was wait for the old man to round the corner of his living room to see the deity.
And he was an imposing figure, for sure. Sitting in a lounge chair with his legs crossed at the knee should have made him look at least a bit silly, but his tall frame, black shroud and dark aura certainly negated all of that.

What the hell was that? Did she need anything for her cooking or something? Not that Orion had any control over the food supplies or ingredients that went through their doors, but he was pretty sure she could've made something with what their cupboards contained.
On the other hand she could've just gone out to avoid him, although that idea sounded unlikely. Maybe she just wanted to pick some flowers, since the last time she had sent him and their youngest son out to do it for her they hadn't returned with everything she had wanted. Orion shrugged, stroking his beard, while he returned to the living room.
"If she wants to go out, I'm not going to stop her," he said, sighing. He was getting hungry. "I hope there's -" The sentence dropped short as he rounded the corner into his living room and saw a figure he hadn't seen in a very, very long time, sitting in his lounge chair. Immediately the worry about his wife disappeared and he frowned at the uninvited guest. "What are you doing here." The question was full of resentment, and Orion wanted nothing but to have him leave his house, although the curiosity of why the destruction god was sitting in his living room was greater than his want to ask him to leave. Orion didn't move.

visiting orion waters Oh, good. Someone who knew him. It was always a pleasure to meet a human who knew of his existence, but he would have been ignorant to think that Orion wouldn't know him. The man was old and he more than likely remembered the first war...coincidentally, that was one thing Excisio wished he could forget. But things were different now, and he had the upper hand.
"Visiting you, Orion," he explained in his purr of a deep voice. For someone so menacing he could make his voice sound as smooth and rich as melted chocolate, dripping off of his tongue.
A slight smirk perked at the god's lips as he looked at the old man standing in the doorway. He wasn't decrepit but he surely wasn't able-bodied. Then again, not all soldiers and not all slaves needed an able body, just an able mind. The old doctor would have a special place among the other humans Excisio had "collected."
"How have you been? I dare say I haven't seen you since you were a child, running around with that precocious little girl," he continued, still sitting firmly in the lounge chair, not planning on leaving any time soon.

Orion frowned at the uninvited guest, then moved further into the room, although at the opposite side of where Excisio was sitting. And in his good chair too. Orion cursed under his breath.
He wanted nothing but to tell the destruction god to drop his ridiculous smirk and get the hell out, but it was the destruction god after all, and he had no idea what he was fully capable of. He had already done so much to banish the harvest goddess, who knew what he could do to him?
"Don't you dare do anything to my wife," he practically snarled at the god through gritted teeth. Visiting? Hah, more like out to get his way again. "I would've been happier never seeing you again. It's been a lifetime, why the hell would you appear now of all times?" He was at the brink of letting his anger go, but for his own and his wife's sake, he kept it in.
The retired doctor sat down in a chair, gripping the sides hard. "What do you want?"

visiting orion waters Excisio couldn't hide the smirk on his face. Orion had always been so hot-headed. It was nice to know that things didn't change. Leaning back in the chair he relaxed, making himself at home in the quaint little house. It had been a while since he had actually been inside such an abode, as he usually talked to people in isolated places.
"I'm not going to do anything to Rosa," he confirmed. "That's why I came when she was out. I wanted to talk to you, Orion. Nothing less and nothing more." And for once, Excisio was telling the truth.
He wasn't above lying and stretching the truth to get what he wanted. It wasn't like Excisio had any morals or anything like that. But he knew that Orion would not be happy if he was planning to do anything to Rosa, but he really wasn't.
"It has been a lifetime. I just wanted to catch up with you. A lot of things have changed, considering when I was around last, you were just a boy," he said in his ridiculously smooth voice, a smile curling on his features.
