plot
Off of the mainland a peninsula juts into the Orchis Ocean...they called it Sepalum, for it resembled the sepals of a flower.
For a long time the people on the Sepalum Peninsula led peaceful lives. The harvest was abundant and people prayed daily to the harvest goddess. She reigned for many, many years.
All reigns have to come to an end, however...and the destruction god, the most evil deity to ever exist, decided he needed to be the catalyst. He came to Sepalum and tried to take over, his army of imps invading amongst the goddess's sprites.
It was a hard battle. The destruction god was strong, but the people of Sepalum helped their beloved goddess and she banished the destruction god and his minions far out of sight of the people. There were festivals upon festivals praising her and the valiant efforts of the people.
Even this was many years ago. As times went on, people started to forget about the goddess and all the bounty she provided for the people. Her power was becoming weak an the sprites hid themselves away.
Now, the destruction god has taken his chance. Breaking free of the prison he had been banished to, he and his imps are stealthily invading the peninsula. Finally he made his way to where the goddess was living and he attacked her, poisoning her with a slow-acting but lethal poison.
Ever since then, the peninsula has been falling into a state of despair — for the destruction god can only reign over chaos. Harvests are failing and people aren't living the plush lives that they once were able to. The sprites are trying to get help, but the imps are holding them back.
Even so, new ranchers, magical beings and townspeople are coming to Sepalum. Some are coming to try and fix the peninsula and some are blissfully unaware.
Discord can be found in the city, across the plains and into the woods in the north. Despite that, citizens new and old want to restore Sepalum to its former glory, because this is home, their home, and it's the only one they have.
