OK, my idea is fairly straight forward. If anybody has played Rune Factory, there are "quests" you can take on in the game. Similarly in Harvest Moon, there are "tasks" to preform for villagers and bachelorettes/bachelors in some games. Well, I thought of a idea for This Is Home that could combine tasks and quests together. Though it's called a quest system, it can be a number of things. Basically it involves two or more characters in a thread doing a challenge. The challenge is set up by the creator of the quest. It can be anything from fetching and delivering an item to an NPC, or if you don't like to wait for more "battle" events, you could spar with another character with a weapon. Or if you want an adventure, feel free to create one!
These quests don't have rewards aside from your post count going up and building relationships with other characters. It's also not fixed like going to a plot page and saying "hey, let's meet here and here and do this and this". Anyone can join a quest.
The poster of the quest would have to be specific (I'd imagine the staff would have a pre-planned template to fill out) on what to do, what to expect and how many people they want involved.
So, more interaction and silly antics rather than planning everything out in advance. =3 [/size]
