Swinging the door open, Adelaide sways in hauling a pack filled with tool in heavy need of fixing. She's has a long day behind her and an even longer one if she can't get her tools ready for fixing up the barn. It's been a bit of a struggle finding her sheep in the field before even waking up to learn there's a whole in her barn.
Taking over a worn out farm has it's ups and downs, while there's quite a lot to maintain to bring it back to it's full glory, there's still a charm to it's old and rustic look that the woman fancies. It's just comes as a surprise at how much more work the girl has to do before it all fixed up. Turns out that rushing to the tool shied for some fixing turns out to need fixing of it's own. Just about every tool left behind has rusted with time. Adelaide did try to work what what she has, but it proved to be much more difficult. Before wasting away the whole day on fixing something broken with another thing broken, she decided to take a quick trip to town leaving the flock in her dog's care.
Though it would have been smarter to only take what she needs at the time, the young lady thought it would be smarter to struggle her whole way with the whole shed on her back. She regrets the idea for a long while but once she finally reached the shop all she could see is salvation.
She could have them all worked on over time and take them home as they get finished up instead to taking that painful path with a heavy load again. With great desperation, Adelaide struggles up to the counter, dropping her load like a mere sack of potatoes and lets out huff from the relief.
"Truly was a dumb idea hauling all this here."
She expresses no emotion yet she feels tired and has a great urge to let loose. Taking a quick glimpse, Adelaide sees a person, possibly two working about in the back. Her stare is back down now directed at her tools, counting and determining possibly how long it would take to get them all repaired. Struggling to pull up the tools she'll need right away, the woman rambles on.
"Hello there. I've found a shied full or rusted tools. They seem like they could be handy, just a little too worn out to work with right away."
After a bit of struggle the woman figures it would be easier places them on the counter one at a time rather than in a bundle. Her muscles are too soar to be hauling more things around, and she still needs to save up energy to take them back and fix up her barn.
"Not sure if there's much that can be done on these, but if you could please salvage them for me and make them better to use? I would love that, especially the tools I need right away. But if you can't or are too busy I'm sorry for the bother."
Her voice sounds stiff like a robot responding back to a command or like an auto response. If one is to not look at her they'd thing that she's probably some dry and boring woman with nothing going for her. Almost like the meanings in her words are equally as empty as the emotion she displays.
