Sure, he requested the summer PE class. Sure, he meticulously planned it. But, if his observations of his generation as teens were right, he doubted anyone would want to take summer classes. Just the two words could cause any one of his previous friends to cringe.
His plan wasn't that bad, really. He had sent an envelope to all of next year's students. Inside was a letter, pretty much introducing himself as their PE teacher from this coming fall, to whenever he decides to retire, and that he was teaching summer classes as an introduction. He even mentioned some incentives for those hard-to-get students: free lunch and dinner, a pass to skip one PE class during the year for each week of summer classes they attended, and a guarantee of becoming one of the strongest in their grade.
Of course, he failed to mention that his summer course would be what he did as a teen as training. Running with weights, followed by stretching, then training his martial arts. He was going to add a lot of other "fun stuff" that would break the monotony of his usual routine. Oh, this would be a ton of fun if people actually came.
Right now, Damian was standing at the front of the school, with crates full of stuff he was going to do for that day. He had his eyes glued to his usual book, waiting for who ever wanted to come.

Stella was pumped up. She wasn't much of a school kind of girl. She often skipped classes, but one thing she did enjoy was P.E. she'd always been one of the best in her school. Even though she wasn't a smart one, she was very athletic. She was excited to hear there where summer classes, something for her to do over the Summer as it was going to be a dull one. Still, at least she could go and play sports for awhile. Not only that, but meet the new gym teacher and probably her coach for a few new sports she'll be trying out next year.
So Stella put on work out clothes, bright hot pink short shorts. And a black tank top. Her messy red hair was put up into a pony tail and she had her tennis shoes on. She was excited and ready for the class. Summer gym tended to be more fun then normal gym too. You tended to go outside more and play more games rather than work harder. Who knows though, this guy may try to push his students harder but Stella wouldn't let him push her to the ground. Instead she'd push right through and keep going. Stella liked being challenged and didn't mind the types of gym teachers that most would call 'rough' or 'mean'.
Stella noticed someone with a bunch of gym supplies and reading a book. He was older and Stella figured it was him. "You the new gym teacher?" she asked, setting down her gym bag that had her water bottle and things in it. She didn't see any other students yet, oh well. Stella wouldn't be surprised if no one else showed.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true] | | | so many different faces | [atrb=vAlign, top] | [atrb=vAlign, top] | | [atrb=vAlign, top] To Damian's surprise, some one actually showed up! To say he was happy was an understatement; he was really excited. Not that he showed any of it well. The only way to tell his happiness is from the smirk under his face mask and the glint of glee from his visible eye. Anyway, he decided to answer the girl with his usual monotone voice, mixed in with a very slight trace of excitement. "I would be he. Call me Damian, Mr. Lancaster, or whatever you want to call me."
He closed his book and pocketed it in an inner pocket of his jacket, before bending down to one crate and picking up a folder. He opened it, revealing it to be next year's roster of students. He skimmed through the photos until he found the girl in front of him and nodded, looking up at her with an eye-smile. "Stella Kingston, I presume? Pleased to meet you. So far, your first impression with me... I like you. You seem pumped, which is good."
As he closed the folder, he bent down and grabbed two ankle weights and two wrist weights from the crate, each weighing five pounds, and hefted them. He dropped the folder in the same crate he picked up the weight from and walked over to Stella. "So, today's gonna be a little different from what you're going to be used to. Put these on."
He handed her the weights and tapped the ones he had on. "If you didn't know, they're training weights. Yours are all five pounds. We're gonna start by jogging around town about... Oh... Seven times sounds like a decent place to start, yeah?" He put on another seemingly innocent eye-smile, betraying the plotting going on in his head to thoroughly exhaust this poor girl.

Stella was happy she had found him so quickly to be honest, she thought that'd she'd have to do some digging, but it seemed to work out. She was about to comment her name, but he decided to go ahead and look for it himself, so Stella shrugged and waited for him to find her picture, and hey! He liked her that was awesome. "Yep! That's me, and thanks, I'm real excited for this class." Stella watched as he bent down to get something out of the crates and as he pulled out wrist weights Stella knew exactly what kind of teacher he'd be and she smiled real big. She loved a challenge.
She took the weights from him before stating "You go it!" she said before he continued speaking, and put on the weights. She looked up at him as he said around town about seven times, she was a treasure hunter she ran around town all day with new jobs. That'd be nothing. "Sounds fun." To bad it wasn't games like she was hoping, but running was a good workout too, and with the amount of time this class was supposed to run he wouldn't be able to exhaust her. She knew his type, he liked seeing them run down low. Which was fun for her, because she'd never been at that point in exhaustion since she was small.
Stella moved the weights a little smiling at them, happy that she was going to be challenged and probably build a lot more muscle then she originally expected. Work was going to be going a lot faster hopefully, as she had to carry heavy things since her two friends ditched the business and she is the last one left, she'd have to do all the heavy lifting and such.

Damian nodded and cracked his neck, before turning to the town. He proceeded with his lazy tone of speaking as he hopped up and down to get the blood pumping. "Now, I'm gonna run the first few laps with you so you can get an understanding of the course you're going to be running for a good chuck of the summer with me. The rest will be a race. You have all of the summer to beat me. The one who finishes all the laps first, wins. You'll get a prize for each time you beat me, but I'll be stacking on the difficulty as you progress, even if you don't beat me. Sounds fair, hm?"
He started jogging, letting Stella catch up and keep his pace. Now that he thought about it, his jacket would be kind of cheating, being a natural AC on his back. Then again, he does have on a 50 pound body weight, along with 10 pound weights on his wrists and ankles. Natural AC or not, 90 pounds of weights... That's a lot.
Seven laps would be a chore, but he'll manage. Once they got out of the school, he turned left and tilted his head back to Stella, facing her. "We're gonna go clockwise from the school, and all around town. Reaching the school again is one lap. No breaks, and there will be punishment if I overlap you. I'm gonna tell you when the race starts, so stay close."
