HISTORY Born into a rich family, Claire's childhood was more than comfortable. Growing up everything she needed was provided for her including the best education in the bustling city where her family lived. With both parents at work more often than they were at home, Claire learned to become fairly independent at a young age, entertaining herself with books or dolls because the city was much too dangerous for a little girl to wander through alone. Throughout her entire schooling career, Claire was placed in the best private schools in the city. She grew up with a small habit of running her mouth, absolutely refusing to say anything else than what she was thinking. She was morally against lying, but brutal honesty also had its setbacks. Claire frequently got into feuds with teachers or classmates because of her brutal honesty or stubbornness when it came to arguments. For as long as she can remember, Claire had a love for playing with hair. Her dolls were her guinea pigs as she cut, dyed and styled their hair to her heart's content. Once their hair was ruined beyond repair, Claire would simply ask for new ones and repeat the process all over again. Her parents figured it was just a phase she was growing through and that her attraction to styling would simply fade along with her desire to play with dolls. Once they realized this hobby wasn't going away any time soon, her parents began pressuring her into going to business school to further their company. There was money to be made and Claire was the sole heir to the company. Getting into a prestigious college was no trouble for her after her years of very expensive schooling, although the drive just wasn't there. Once the family business crashed because of fraud, Claire was forced to drop out because tuition was just too high. She acted disappointed for her parents, but in reality she was happy. The world of business was too dull and complex for her. Being a perfectionist, there was just too many variables she was unable to control. While her parents were focused on reclaiming what they could from the company, Claire slipped away to the countryside to avoid the ridicule she received from her now ex-friends. Claire had always been easy to offend and now that her family was penniless, it gave her friends more material to tease her about. Working with doll hair all her life helped her land a stable job at the local hair parlor. She left her parents a note with her goodbyes and moved Sepalum in hope that no one here knew about her family's shortcomings and she could just enjoy life on her own accord.
