The strange black-cloaked man materialized inside the stony walls of the mine, hoping that the girl he had contacted earlier would show up. Then again if she didn't, she wouldn't be interested in developing her magical level. He would wait a little while, before leaving.
It was time for Seraphita Gillespie's level three magical task, and the mysterious man had asked her to come to the mine to test herself.
"Seraphita?" he called, wondering what took her so long. He realized that it was a little walk from the church to the mine, but he had told her to hurry. The task she needed to perform was right in front of him, after all. |

She had no idea why he wanted to meet up with her at the mine, but Sera complied. Getting dressed, she headed towards the mine, making sure to watch her step, since there were many rocks strewn about. It was pretty hot during Spring, but the mine provided plenty of shade. ”Yes, I’m here!” Seraphita approached the cloaked man and smiled. ”Sorry I’m late. I had to change really quick.” What would she do today? She hadn’t mined in a while, but when she did, she always found the prettiest rocks to show off to her mother. |
