Well there are a couple of signs such as: the water and temperature are both nice and cool, it isn't too far into the day so that there are more fish, and lastly when the sun isn't out; fishes don't like the heat apparently. Whatever
It was in the morning when Wei left him, just a little bit before dawn. The skies were filled with a purplish tint, mixed with a shade of red. The sun had already begun to rise, casting its sunshine. It was a pretty sight to see...but now it's over. Time to move on. The male was wearing a red and white cap, as if he'd ever leave without it, and a black t-shirt. On his lower half, he was sporting a nifty pair of boardshorts, striped with red, green and yellow (It was kind of tacky) and white slip on sneakers. Before he actually left him, he grabbed a fishing rod and his miniature cooler.
When the male arrived to Rosa Beach, it was still dawn but Kenneth wasn't there yet it seemed. Wei rented a small boat and threw his belongings into it then waited for his pal. When Kenneth finally arrived, Wei immediately departed because of his impatience. The boat drifted out to see, but the beach was still visible and it seem the waves had died a bit; sweet! Casting out his line, a soft splash was heard from his sinkers hitting the water. The only sounds that were heard were the cries of the seagulls, the sound of the waves rocking back and forth, and the light breeze's whiiissshh. Those were the only sounds, meaning there weren't people talking. If you didn't that, it meant Wei and Kenneth weren't talking. Kenneth wasn't the type to talk, probably shy; Wei would not have pushed it passed him, Kenneth was kind of dorky to him. "Hey Kenneth....you wanna know how I know you're gay?" He waited for his reply, "It takes you twenty minutes to do your hair." Just as the teenager left out a soft chuckle, he felt a jerk coming from his fishing pole. He stood up quickly, rocking the boat slightly from his sudden movements, and reeled in his line as hard as he could! It felt like a big one, a promising catch! Yanking on the rod, with all his might, he reeled the line faster only to find a boot dangling on the end of his hook. Fan...tastic. | [atrb=valign, top][atrb= style, border-left: solid 2px 696969] |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] | { | "We were the kings and queens of promise." ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indeed the setting’s absolutely perfect for a day of fishing, especially now that the sun isn’t glaring on the surface of the whole peninsula. Some fishes will definitely rise up, as well some uninvited ones, such as jellyfishes, sharks, and the likes. Nevertheless, lady luck smiled at both Wei and Lee today, since they only agreed to go fishing on this day when every angle and aspect for the activity is suitable. As agreed, they met at the same place where they usually just hang out. A place that few meters away from the plaza and the wooden docks, sits a bench right on the uphill stony slope, nearby the border of the main district from the beach itself sits a bench facing the ocean. Lee arrives with his usual backpack, except more full. The both didn’t really exchange much word, and it’s quite normal for them since they somehow understand each other with just a few gestures, such as the mystery of deep bonds. Like the other, he donned the same old attire he usually wears. A plain white shirt, which is a little baggy for his frame, on top of it is a red vest, heading in a combo with his blue jeans and red baseball cap. The both proceeded towards to the wooden docks, the first section which pretty much is just a few feet away from the shore of Rosa Beach. This is a boat they rented out from that new guy from the Fish Shop, whom offered it to them for a pretty cheap price, and of course they took since it looks like it’s in very good shape. The boat is an averaged sized motorboat, designed specifically for fishing, which explains the steep ends of it. Despite the motor, it is specifically shape and made to create less noise underwater yet move fast. Once they hopped in, Lee immediate did the courtesy of checking everything for them. Baits? Check.. Rods? Check.. Food? Check.. Booze? Check.. Yep, everything seemed good to go. So without further ado, they set off. They took a stop on a certain distance, which makes the beach still fully visible, but judging by the breeze they were far enough to throw a line in. As anticipated, Wei is very excited and did it first while Lee himself starts tinkering with his rod before browsing on his choice of casts and baits. While waiting, it seemed that his friend over ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "We were the victims of ourselves." |

It smelled like salty water, no surprise there! The two of them were out in the ocean, they weren't catching any fish and Lee wasn't talking; how could things get any more boring? Trick question. Setting his rod against the railing of the boat, Wei began to move. When he stood up, he looked around to see if people were coming, but the beach was still empty: a sign that they were not here long.
The male steadily climbed over the windshield to get to the bow of the boat. Wobbling, he could not have helped but laugh, finding amusement in this. He stood at the end of the boat and had spread his arms out, closing his eyes while his head tipped back. The sun's warm rays touched his skin and the breeze blew back what hair stuck out from the sides of his hat. Once the moment was over, Wei quickly dropped to his stomach, peering into the water.
The water wasn't clear enough to see through it, and Wei wanted to get a look to see if there were even fish to be fished.Wei began to inhale air and held it before removing his cap momentarily. He would dunk his head into the ocean and search. He saw nothing but blue at first but images were starting to form before his eyes. He didn't have the chance to make the images out, needing to breathe. When Wei yanked himself to the surface, a big gasp of air followed but he went back in. Opening his eyes underwater, the dark hues of his shifted from side to side. He was able to spot a couple of schools of fish, some rays even turtles. The water would ripple when he came back up, then wandered back to his spot. Shaking the water off his head, drops hitting Lee, Wei tugged his cap back onto his head and grinned. "Looks like we're not here for nothing after all. Lets just catch something so we can get out of here." His hand wandered over to the cooler which carried their bait, Wei picked up a shrimp which was still alive (Fish tend to eat their food while it's alive than dead). Hooking the poor guy into his hook, the male cast his line in the air he last saw the school. Having a cocky grin on his face, he leaned back and waited for, what he thought, an inevitable nibble. | [atrb=valign, top][atrb= style, border-left: solid 2px 696969] |
