i'll make this pretty later.
dahlia is a witch. she believes in the harvest goddess and is peeved that non-magical beings don't anymore. so she's kind of iffy with regular people and often comes off as snippy and rude.
but she's tsun so don't mind that.

what a succinct plot page! so this is hadia and she pretends she's a witch which is something altogether untrustworthy and typical of a human am i right?
like i'm not sure whether witches and wizards have some kind of magicdar in them, maybe it depends on the witch, but at any rate hadia just runs on a "magic 'til proven non-magic" in that vein of "innocent until proven guilty" if it were ever questioned.
but otherwise even assuming dahlia might begin consider hadia slightly because of her ~magical heritage~ these two will but heads like nobody's business. hadia likes people to do what she WANTS 8) and someone sarky and not willing to fit to that means a relationship might be pretty much unsalvageable. especially if hadia, say, marched on where she lives - i assume pretty secluded from the rest of the townspeople? - and demanded more about the area. for ARCHAEOLOGY.
8) bless ok i just wanted to post!

omg tension is always the best in plotting.
i can see the two of them being the rivals that love to hate each other but not really hate. and not even rivals in the sense they have a common goal just that they're too similar for their own good.
dahlia is iffy on p. much everyone and will always do the "pfft i'm not enjoying talking with you if that's what you think" thing. she's just a snarky wet blanket that takes some time to get to know
but if she wants artifacts dahlia is the girl to go to because she is ancient

seraphita and dahlia:
Seraphita is a nun working at the church and if Dahlia finds out she worships the harvest goddess they could be friends or something. She’d wonder why she doesn’t like regular people and Dahlia could tell her to spread the teachings of the Harvest Goddess more. IDK, feel free to add/subtract/whatever.

I like the idea of bonding over the Harvest Goddess. Dahlia would appreciate the way that Seraphita has devoted her life to the goddess and wouldn't mind talking to her or hanging out. Anyone that is a believer of the HG is good in Dahlia's book. ♥
