Artemis has spent her entire life living on the peninsula. Her mother died during childbirth, and ever since that day, her father has been doting on her, always trying to make sure his little girl is happy. She usually got whatever she asked for, and because of this, Artemis has become a little spoiled. Whenever she didn't get what she wanted, she would get moody and, on some occasions, throw a fit. This has isolated her from a lot of people, to where she only has a few friends.

Growing up in wealth, Artemis has a tendency to think she's better than most people on the peninsula, though she makes an exception for those she's close to (or if you're a really cute guy). This mostly shows in her attitude with her trying to act as ladylike as possible, and chiding others if they act in a way she deems uncouth. This was adorable when she was just a small child, but now most people find it really annoying.

Living on the peninsula her entire life without really getting a chance to leave it much (since her father is the mayor, he usually has to stay put to make sure everything runs smoothly) has made Artemis long to leave her hometown and go somewhere much more interesting. She dreams of going off to live in a big city and becoming an actress, though her lack of ability to take care of herself and live on her own has kept her from doing so.

However, the amount of new people who have been moving to the peninsula has intrigued and excited her. She longs to hear stories about places outside of the peninsula, and to see if any of these places sound promising enough for her to move there.
