friends ♦ mallory would love to have some friends, though her constant isolation can make it a bit difficult to keep them. it's not like she does it on purpose; she just loses track of the days sometimes. however, if you manage to stick with her, she can be pretty loyal. however, be warned: you may become the guinea pig for her work. or at the very least a portable pillow.

enemies ♠ mal's not one to make enemies, or at least on purpose. sure, she's probably ticked some people off here and there, but for the most part she tries to do go. if you don't like her, she probably wouldn't even notice at first.

romance ♥ mallory isn't one to fall in love easily, or even have a crush. you'd really have to impress her for her to fall head over heels for you. however, if you're willing to take the challenge, you could probably woo her over. She'd most likely be super oblivious to it at first.

and to be honest james would be pretty nervous around an immortal-soundin' being. plus, he's a little new around town so he's pretty determined to make a GOOD IMPRESSION no matter WHAT. he'd definitely genuinely like her attitude too - birds of a cheery feather flock together or something - so i really don't see why they wouldn't hit it off a little if she can be a little bad socially!

but otherwise man if she brought up the experiments seriously james would be a horrible mix of WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG and SHE WON'T LIKE YOU IF YOU SAY NO so consider mal gifted with one unfortunate soul!

OK MAN this sounds great! at last if she visits him more he's loosen up around her and be less polite and formal even if there is the terrible inevitably of something going terribly wrong in her visits. her presence in her life will be an enigma, a bundle of feelings of dread yet like

oh man rping some kind of first impression terrible disaster would be really fun! where about's her home? i don't know maybe i could have james sort of stumble upon her place of experimentation to some degree?

I have no clue actually. LOL Maybe she forced him to try one of her potions and his hair turned green and he was like "what on earth, woman?" And from there a friendship was formed.

She's a hermit but she's gotta come in to town some times. I don't know. Maybe she just likes to come in to tease ol' Cal and call him names or something.

I can see these two in very friendly terms! Maybe Ann met her when she was near her home—lost, as usual—and helped her out and in return she helped her (even if she became part of her experiments; possibly having some part of her body transformed into something? Or even just turning into a bunny.) And maybe after her hermit days are somewhat over, and she comes out once in a blue moon, she sometimes visit the farm? Possibly the reasons one of her animals is missing? Jokingly, of course, unless she really was the cause then hilarious moment ensues.

. . . honestly, it doesn't matter, however they meet should be pretty damn funny. She will be one of those ~*~mysteries~*~ that he has zero desire to ever completely understand. Probably because she could turn his hair shock blue or something and he couldn't leave his house for the next week, but I think he would have a secret soft spot for her. If you want, they might know each other from some occasion when he got very lost in the woods as a kid, but . . . I don't know what age she is, so I can't be sure if this plot would work . . . ? It just sounds cute to imagine, even write out if you have the definition of "liquid time" that I do. <<;

I dunno, I just want her to pick on him and make him test out love potions something awkward, and he can fix those broken shutters of her little shack irritably in response. I don't think he would get that she's a witch for a while, though. / desmond is like. blind to supernatural things. spirits don't exist. witches don't exist, either. she's just "eccentric." even the most obvious implications will be ignored brilliantly.

Anyway, in all seriousness these two should be friends. She's isolated as well and her best friend is a squirrel named Gingy. Although at this point, she is isolated in a cottage with her animals as company. I am trying to get a male in to show her that she doesn't turn to stone, and her think that it's because their her soul mate, so Mallory can probably put a rest to the whole curse thing.
