visiting hazel romano Because it was easier to visit the dreams of the people of Sepalum, she often preferred them over actually showing herself to someone, but whenever she had enough energy to, she made her appearance.
It was hard, though, because every time she did so, her energy weakened, and she didn't want to jeopardize her health too much, but this time she felt it was necessary. And sometimes just the feeling of being in the real world was great despite how sickly she became. It was necessary.
The journey was tiring, but the name of the girl she was visiting had come to her in a dream. The sweet and energetic Hazel had caught her eye, and she wanted to talk to her, if only for a little while.
It was dark, after the wee hours of midnight, and her brother was already well on his way into dreamland. She smiled to herself as she passed by the door to his room, almost giggling when she heard he was snoring, then settling her eyes on the door of the next bedroom, where she was headed.
"Hazel Romano, I've come to visit you," she said softly, almost soothingly, as she sat down on the bed. "Please wake up."

She wasn't so little anymore, and her frame filled out the twin bed that Hazel'd had for ages, but when she slept she looked like a perfect, immaculately born creature. Soft, button nose and her ears moved unconsciously, like a sleeping animal's.
But she woke up, a bit softly, blinked and then realized why she had woken up. She sat up with a start and squeaked quite audibly. Then she slapped her hands over her mouth because for some reason she had this feeling she shouldn't wake her brother up. That would be bad, right? Hell, she didn't even know. Hands still clasped over her mouth, Hazel blinked a few more times before making any other reaction.
She took her hands off of her mouth and grabbed her comforter tightly. There was a motherly air coming off this woman, but she was still surprised. "Who are you?" Her voice squeaked and broke, betraying how frightened she was. Maybe frightened wasn't the right word... more surprised. In awe. She didn't feel like she was in danger, but she was definitely not expecting her night to end up like this.
