rules
The rules are simple — just make sure you pay attention to what you're doing and stay within their bounds and everyone is going to have a great time!
1. Treat everyone with respect. In-character disputes are fine, out of character disputes are not. If you have a problem with another member, please be mature and PM me so we can work something out. I can't require this, but I strongly suggest that you be as welcoming as possible with new members and give them lots of amazing plots~
2. No god-modding or power playing. Just don't do it, it's not cool. If we tell you that your application is too close to or full on power playing, please listen, because it's our rules and we won't accept any applications that we feel aren't complying to them.
3. No advertising or spamming in the cbox. If any of that is seen, you'll be warned, and if you don't stop you'll get banned. Don't say we didn't warn you!
4. Please, no graphic content in your posts — keep it PG-13. If things need to get intimate, fade to black. I don't really expect much extreme violence on this site, but if that needs to happen, do a fade too.
5. There's currently no limit on how many characters you can have or how many threads you can be in as long as you can keep up with them. On that note, we have one account per character. Please make your display name your character's first name and last initial, as such: JESSICA L. All of it in uppercase.
6. Speaking of characters, please make your application title exactly this way: FIRST LAST, membergroup, uppercasing the name and lowercasing the membergroup. Also, your character's name cannot have the same name as your faceclaim, or have the same personality. We don't accept copying.
7. While the site is fictional, we like to keep it at least a little realistic. That's why it wouldn't make sense for a character to be, for example, a principal under thirty, or a bartender under twenty-one. Be sensible when selecting occupations for your characters!
8. We will have activity checks periodically to see who is still around (every three months or so). If you don't pass the check, your things will be archived. Inactive accounts will be deleted. However, don't worry if you fail to meet the check. Deleted accounts can be remade, and everything that went into the archives can be moved back again.
9. There is also no word count, but a general rule of thumb is to try and keep up with whomever you're roleplaying with.
10. Finally, please PM me if anything is bothering you with the site, including layout problems, issues with other members or suggestions for the site.
