Anwar Abbott is a Hindu man almost completely out-of-touch with his roots. While he certainly has a taste for Indian food, he doesn’t particularly focus on other aspects of his heritage, something that eventually ended with him getting disowned by his extremely religious father. Deciding not to let that dampen his spirits, Anwar went to school in the city, where he received his doctorate for medical research. Afterwards, Anwar traveled on his own for a time before finally settling down on the Sepalum peninsula.
Here, Anwar continued his medical practices and was one of the original doctors of Sepalum. Due to circumstances within the last decade, however, he has resigned from his position to do further medical research on his own, and has since become City Hall's head librarian. Though the pay is modest in comparison to his old salary as a doctor, the hours are much more bearable, leaving him with more time to spend on his research. Of course, due to the Harvest Goddess and the unworried magical beings occupying the peninsula, Anwar has started doing a little less research on medicine and a little more on magic...
