history

Zain was born into a family of three; his father, mother, and an older sister. His childhood was good, after all, his family was rather wealthy and he always got what toys or clothes he wanted. However, it wasn't long until the pressure started being put on Zain. In his family, it was important to be important. For generations, the Pykes had been making a name for themselves. Zain's father was a retired army general, who held a position in the local government. His mother was a head doctor at the local hospital. And his sister was going to college to become a lawyer.

College was always a necessity for Zain's future. The only problem was, he didn't know what he wanted to for his future. None of the careers his parents wanted him to go into interested him. Things became strained between Zain and his parents, and when he finally expressed his desire to become a clothing designer, he was all but tossed out of the family. It just wasn't important enough in their opinion.

Zain moved out soon after, and wandered for a while until finally settling down in Sepalum. Thankfully, there was a clothing store there that was in need of a tailor, and while Zain's designs could easily have made him famous in a larger city, he is quite satisfied with where he is now.

• Perhaps because of him being a magical being, but despite his age, Zain has a certain boyish look to him. The only time he truly looks his age is when he's concentrating on his work, either designing a new pattern or sewing piece of clothing.
  
• Zain will sometimes weave spells into his clothing to sell in the shop. These are anything from wet-proof, to heat or cold resistence. He could even weave in a few magic protection or weapon protection spells if there was eevr a need to.
  
• He has a gray tabby kitten with white paws named Dami. He was the runt of the litter and is very tiny, but very mischevious.
