Alright let's see if I can keep this coherent outside of my mind. : )

Since Jake is the blacksmith's apprentice maybe Elena comes in to the shop and asks him about repairs, upgrades and the like. But then she starts asking about repairs to other tools (like some of the tools she needs for her thieving...a lock picking set or whatever) but obviously won't say what tools she's asking about?

Plus, she'd probably try to use her charm to get him to take care of her tools and say nothing, then feel bad for him when she gives him a panic attack or whatever.

I don't even know if that makes sense...

These two should be friends. Sadly though, Zalea thinks she is cursed so there is no way she could actually meet him until she finds out that she can't turn people to stone by them looking her in the eyes. Although if he finds himself in the woods and stumbles across a cute little ranch, he can ease her into the real world.

Jake would most likely get himself lost in the woods and so happen to find the ranch. His curiosity would get the better of him. He would go search out who it belonged to. They could be friends great friends. Jake is very easy to get along with, but can be very annoying at times.

I found someone to hate him...but no srsly I have a feeling, poor jake would probably annoy cecilia to no end with his goofy, stubborn, naive nature. And the fact that he dare take up the sword and even have the gall to be talented even worse! not to mention any uncomfort around her for being a girl/possible crush (idk if she's crushable or not) would probably just add to the pain between the two She'd probably be super hard on him to boot ^^; (for both swordsmanship and blacksmithing)

Though before they realize she hates him, it could be fun if we could somehow get her to practice with him/teach him a bit due to age/time spent practicing I'd imagine she'd still be quite a bit better than him?

Later on, though perhaps they can somehow wind up in some dangerous situation together and that would help her at least gain a grudging respect for him? if we're lucky maybe even an 'okay you drive me insane but you're kinda like a brother to me now' feeling
