The boutique itself has a total area of 1000 square feet [25x40] and two floors, the top being reserved for Val's living quarters. The first floor is divided into three separate sections, the majority of which is the concealed studio where the designer produces her wares. The showing floor itself is a moderate size, the flooring covered in several rows of low shelving displays. Towards the rightward wall, there is a small dressing area, which is simply a canopy curtain, made of thick purple cotton, that drops when pulled down by a slim silver chain. A similarly colored couch is available for customers to relax on. Against the back wall is the checkout counter, the entirety of the back wall fitted with box shelving, each case displaying various pieces of jewellery and hair accessories.
The decorum of the boutique reflects Val heavily, from bright pinks and whites to fluffy bunny cushions pinned to the walls. The windows are covered by lattice curtains, as well as the doorway that leads to her studio.
Requests for anything from nightware to wedding gowns are accepted. Repairs to any piece of clothing are free of charge. A 'pay when you can' system has been put in place.
