APPEARANCE EYE COLOR: blue HAIR COLOR: blue MEDICAL INFORMATION n/a personality + nurturing + friendly + generous + self-confident + idealistic - careless - gullible - cantankerous - naïve - fanciful/wishful BACKGROUND INFORMATION eloise has always been unreasonably ashamed of her family’s background. it wasn’t much –but that was her problem to begin with. her parents owned a small farm, which was an orphanage in part, hardly a business, honestly. but they were pretty resolute in their decision to see it through. she was opposed to that idea before, as she found it perfectly fine to be an only child. throughout her school days in primula town, she worked hard to make it look as though she was somebody from the city shipped in to live in a small town. she grew up resentful and shallow, and all her thoughts and ideals finally lead her to leaving home on a whim. she saved up and managed enough to stay at a boarding house in victorialis city, but couldn’t scrape up enough money to keep going to school. being eighteen at the time, it did little to deter her. even if what greeted her there wasn't glamorous or great. she worked a few jobs here and there, mostly as a store clerk or waitstaff, her youth was spent learning things the hard way. alone. that was until some time ago, when she met a kind young man in one of the cafes she was working and it was oh-so exciting because it seemed, felt, and to her, was something out of a film or a book! she loved it, probably more then she really loved him. in the end, her fanciful nature and her expectations, which didn't exactly fit in so well with who he really was, became enough reason for him to call it off. as luck would have it, around that time, she would receive a call from back home, of some distant relatives telling her about her parents, and their untimely death. eloise would have to go back and run the orphanage, still having some four or five children without care. with her situation in the city, disillusioned and tired, she returned home. it has been a year since her homecoming and not a lot of things have changed. she decided to keep the orphanage, knowing that the children left would have no other place to go, since the only other orphanage everyone knew of was all the way in victorialis city. a part of her feels that it wouldn’t be right to send them there in the first place. PERSONALITY eloise has a really good imagination. almost too good as it has the tendency to affect her view on people. this was her first motivation for moving to the city after all. but in turn, it easily became the cause of the bulk of her misfortunes. she’s very careless, not particularly clumsy, but very disorganized, and she never really got a handle on the meaning of priorities. to her merit, she does have a natural, nurturing side, since it’s something she subconsciously does to ideas of people in her head. and it was also one of the reasons she couldn’t just abandon her parents’ orphanage, which, at first, was something she had trouble putting value into. to this date, she’s still unsure of how she feels about the whole place. but she doesn’t resent it completely. tricking her into things wouldn't be a difficult feat to achieve, but to balance out her badluck, life has bestowed upon her chance encounters with people who might know better. sometimes, at least. and not always when she needs it the most. eloise is pretty cheerful still, for the most part. it’s just really in her nature to be so, but being in her early twenties keeps her going back and forth between maturity and the opposite. extra - her dad used to call her ellie belly. she’d less-than-fondly recall it during her time in the city, or in general even, but it’s become nostalgic at this point. - she loves pastries and bread. specialty cakes are a big deal for her. a really big deal. - she can’t cook for the life of her. which is a problem because more often than not, it’s just her and the kids. and she barely has enough for the regular volunteers. when there’s no one around to pick up the slack for her, one can smell the scent of slightly burnt leftover fried rice coming from the kitchen. she'd readily defend its edibility. - since there aren’t infants in the orphanage at the moment, she can afford to spend some time working in town for a little extra cash. but she manages to spend a huge portion of the money on useless things before going home since she likes to buy a bunch of random things for the kids, like clothes that might suit them, or things they might like. tl;dr: she likes to spoil them. and it’s a mystery how she hasn’t spent most of the money her parents left. ooc NAME: shiny dani CHARACTERS: felix, sofia, luca HOW DID YOU FIND US: probably through lots of clicking.
