~~~~ I'M WALKING ON ~~~~ This...was an exceedingly stupid idea.
The lock clicked open, and the witch quickly removed it from the cellar doors. The 3:00 moon shone on her back, the breeze slightly blowing her short, brown hair. Yes, this was an exceedingly stupid idea but she needed her fix. She really needed her fix.
Small hands opened the cellar doors, letting the stale air blow onto a pudgy, pre-teen face. It would be a quick job. Get in, grab a bottle or two, enough to her to enjoy, not enough for them to miss, that kinda stuff.
Quickly she hopped inside the cellar, dust clouding up where her feet made a soft thud on the cold ground. Her eyes, bright and feral scanned the place as she walked to a nearby rack of alcohol. It was a simple trick she learned, all the way back in the...two hundreds was it? Something like that. Gave you the ever so keen eyes of a cat, perfect for hands-free, unnoticeable night-time vision.
Within a few minutes, maybe even less, a bottle of whiskey, vodka and with three beers had found themselves within the arms of the girl. She smiled savoring their cool touch as she climbed out.
An easy trip, it was, and man it was so needed. SUN-SHINE [newclass=.sunnysai]font-family:impact;color:FCBC79;text-shadow:0px 4px #A61F55;font-size:50pt;margin-top:-30px;[/newclass]
J.T stretched a little as he got back out of bed, dawning on his clothes once more, including his black robe. The hilt of his sword smacked him in the side as he attached the sheath around his hips once more. He couldn't believe he had forgotten something at the bar! It had been a long time since he had forgotten such a sacred thing that he was amused by such a thing. Oh well, time to retrieve the item at once! The walk to the tavern was nice however and he enjoyed the cool breezes of the night as they kept him cold. His body felt wonderful as he continued on, his heart always loving a good walk out of the stuffy house he was living in. Unfortunately though he knew this late night trek would have some consequences, for instance being dead tired in the morning but there was nothing he could about that, twas his own fault after all!
Arriving at the Inn and tavern he walked through the doors. Everything was closed for the night, the lights being off and people in the inn sleeping soundly. He almost envied their sleep for a few moments. A flick of his fingers and he had perfect night vision. Now where was his precious? Ah! It was in the cellar! He snapped his fingers once more and found himself inside of the cellar. It was cold here and his eyes drooped a little more. Using any kind of magic while being drained as he was, was technically dangerous. Oh, but there it was! He nabbed a green and white striped hate from beside a wine rack and put it back on. Now that was better! Wait a minute, who was that?! He saw a figure darting out of the room, something in their hands. Thieves? Not on his watch! He thumbed the hilt of his sword and ran after, exiting the cellar the normal way for once and nearly running into the...girl?
J.T came to a sudden stop, his curiosity peeked. "Who do we have here? A curious girl with...how much alcohol?" He asked, his right hand on the hilt of his sword. Being a magical being himself he knew what could be lurking in the pitch black of night. A creature stealing booze in a child's form though? A bit unlikely but still, he didn't want to be caught off guard. He could sense there was something different about her though, something off and that was all he needed to keep his guard up.
~~~~ I'M WALKING ON ~~~~ SHIT!
Shit shit shit shit shit. Why now of all times? Literally not even 30 seconds in and some goddamned wizard by the looks of it had to poof on in like a goddamned genie. The witch tried not to hiss a little as she slowly crept past him, praise the lord he was reasonably preoccupied with some god-awful hat. Almost there…Almost-
DAMN IT, he saw her and she was running.
It is amazing how difficult it is to run with an arm or two full of booze, especially at night. So of course the chase didn’t last long. The witch tripped on a rock not five minutes in, skidding on the ground with a pained grunt.
”Who do we have here? A curious girl with...how much alcohol?"
She didn’t say anything, quickly grabbing the bottles that had rolled out of her grasp to hold close to her. She didn’t bother getting up, as such a move was pointless to be honest. Instead she quickly reviewed the few spells she was able to use with her current power as she gave him a nervous, puppy-dog look. More would be said later, of course. But Maxine knew from experience, the less you talked the better off you sat.
SUN-SHINE ooc: sorry it took me so long! [newclass=.sunnysai]font-family:impact;color:FCBC79;text-shadow:0px 4px #A61F55;font-size:50pt;margin-top:-30px;[/newclass]
