[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=valign,top][atrb=style,width:200;] NORA ELLIS TWENTY TWO TOWNSPERSON LIBRARIAN LAZY PRETENTIOUS I WANNA STAY INSIDE ALL DAY I WANT THE WORLD TO GO AWAY | [atrb=style,width:100;] | [cs=2][atrb=style,width:312; padding-top: 5;] FRIENDS Good friggin' luck. Nora doesn't want to be here, she doesn't care that much about people, and she's not that fun to be around either, unless she's in the mood. Which isn't often. She isn't good with emotional stuff, either, so at best, you might find yourself a lazy-arse friend who's talented at making lazing about, witty remarks, and raining on everybody else's parade. So uh. If that's attractive to you then go for it? Nora's not going to be very receptive and welcoming to attempts at friendship, but she appreciates people who think she's hilarious (which she is), so there's your little doggie bone if you want it. And like I said before. Good luck. There will be many an awkward conversation and several clever quips flung your way until she decides she likes you. If she does.
ENEMIES This is exponentially easier. Sort of. She doesn't really care for people, so she'll in all likely feel indifferent toward you or just find you mildly annoying, like some sort of fly or gnat that keeps hovering around for too long. But she's not hard to dislike. She's pessimistic, she's sassy, she's sardonic, she's lazy, and she's pretentious. She will admit to it though, so if you try insulting her she, haha, won't really be affected and will think you're dumb for just stating what she is. Like wow, you are observant after all. Congrats. What do you want, a cookie? She's definitely easy to hate, though, and if you need help at the library, well, haha, better hope the other librarian's in, because she's lazy and useless and uncooperative, ahahaha. Basically she's not that great a person, have a field day in this category, toodles.
ROMANCE A-hahaha, I don't even know. I mean, she might not be adverse to a fling or something along those lines, but then again, she might not care enough or be too lazy to bother. So, really, it's sort of hit-or-miss. And I've no clue if she could ever be involved in a longterm thing. If you've any ideas for this category, hit me with them, and good luck. Ahaha bye. |

ANWAR+NORA -- mm, technically nora is working under anwar as one of the librarians, so these two would definitely be around each other? i can see these two having pretty heated arguments, tbh, haha. anwar's got a really sharp-tongue and definitely wouldn't stand for her attitude, so i can definitely see them butting heads. despite her wittiness, which is a trait she and anwar share, he'd probably find her aggravating and negative. i think if they got used to each other they could at least be civil, but they're definitely looking like enemies at the moment, haha. VENICE+NORA -- venice would probably be cool with nora, but i think nora would dislike venice haha. venice definitely wouldn't mind all the negative commentary because she tries to see a little bit of good in everybody, and would probably laugh at most of her remarks (unless they were just downright mean). both of these girls are pretty lazy, though, so i can see venice coming by the library to laze about with nora, if they ever became friends. (venice is very persistent, though, so, more than likely, she'll keep attempting to befriend nora no matter what the circumstances.) ROSS+NORA -- honestly, if she ever came by the bacarr inn/tavern and started talking, ross would probably think she was funny. he's got sort of a bitterness about him, so i think he could almost feed off her sense of humor. however, ross wouldn't like her laziness and lack of respect, so while he may find her humorous, he wouldn't go out of his way to befriend her. ELEANOR+NORA -- now these two could be potential friends. eleanor is -- for lack of a better word -- a bitch. she would think nora is very funny, and would definitely enjoy the company of someone who also does not want to be on the island. these two would have to be careful about getting into fights, as eleanor is pretty passive-aggressive and would likely piss nora off, but if they stuck to hanging around and mocking other people, they could totally be friends. hahaha.

ANWAR + NORA oh, great, a boss. ugh. just what she needs. well, he probably won't like Nora at all because, haha, she only got the job because her aunt needed to get her a job she won't get into trouble with or be stressed over, lest she start smoking again. nora would get pretty annoyed with him breathing down her back and nagging about her "attitude," so of course that means she'll just increase it and hope he shuts up because she's an immature prat like that. nora also is probably the worst librarian ever, considering she didn't even want the job and therefore does not - and will not, if it can be helped - do anything she doesn't want to. which translates to her job. if they ever start being civil, it won't be today, because nora's a lazy bum who does the bare minimum and scrapes by. i wouldn't even be surprised if she got fired at one point, haha. sounds fun, though - witty quips and arguments. >:3
VENICE + NORA venice seems pretty relax, which nora wouldn't mind. of course, bring up that there's good in everybody, and nora will roll her eyes and call her a clichéd ingenue, but just being lazy about stuff would be ok with nora. venice could probably go between I Don't Mind Your Presence to You're Kinda Annoying on Nora's scale of Tolerance, depending on what's exchanged in their conversations and whatnot. but yeah, venice probably could stay in proximity to nora without being a nuisance. they could be *gasp* civil!
ROSS + NORA of course he would find her funny, she's hilarious. did no one get the memo? though, haha, too bad for him, she doesn't care what he doesn't like. or about him. 'cause were this any other character, they might bond over tarnished dreams, 'cept nora doesn't do that emotional crap, nor really care about anyone else, so. haha. they'd prolly just be acquaintances whenif she ever goes to the inn/tavern. though that might depend if smoking is allowed in there, her aunt treats her like a child, especially around cigarettes cheesus, auntie, i'm 22, i can smoke and drink if i want to, chill out, whoa re you my mum oh wait she's dead huff
ELEANOR + NORA i am agog! i am aghast! has nora found a friend at last? prob'ly not because she's a praaaaat. /ahem/ mope about this crummy town buddies? sounds possible, though nora wouldn't be emotionally invested in anything regarding eleanor - not even a fight, so stop getting your panties in a twist. she just said what needed to be said, sheesh woman. if eleanor started pulling passive aggressive crap on nora though, haha, watch out, cuz nora's probably gonna call her on it. then wonder why it's such a big deal whenif she pisses eleanor off. whoops. but if they didn't get like that, and just sort of moped about and made fun of people together, that'd be cool. nora could Not Mind Her Presence. probably. so long as she doesn't get too whiny - see, nora is more about herself, and while she may be a pretentious brat, she doesn't like hanging out with other pretentious jerks unless they know that's what they are. so many of which don't, tsk. ....wowie, seems like they might be something like frenemies, if you could call it that? c'8 oh well, eleanor, you tried. maybe.

NORA & SASHA
So I think they might be sorta one sided friendly acquaintances? Mostly because I can seeSasha wandering into the library every time she's aiting for a new issue of Vogue to be mailed to her. She'll gravitate towards another female and try to make nice and be a little chatty. Thouhg she isn't one who likes being ignored so most likely she'll strut around trying to get her to say something other than 'u huh'. Idk They're jsut really different and would make interesting friends.

SASHA & NORA Ew. People. Why do you bother her. She doesn't care. Go away. Ngh. (ahem) Well, Nora's not very appreciative of people, so Sasha's attempts at niceness probably are going to be brushed off, possibly with some sass or just plain rude comments because it's Nora she's talking to. I do like the sound of Sasha's attempts to get Nora to pay her attention. They might not be friends (and might be one-sidedly so, depending if Sasha will see Nora as such), but they'll sure be interesting together. I can't tell if they're complementary or not, though, ahaha. It's a mystery and it sounds fun yay.
I can't remember if I had a definitive point or not when I started this. Oops.

Nora & Damian
Seeing as how Damian carries around little books all the time, he'd visit the library quite a few times. He's only been in the peninsula for a year, but I'd say he would be a regular, coming at least once a week to return and get books. Damian doesn't push for conversations, so I'd say the two could be "acquaintances." As in, Nora accepts Damian as the "No-Face Cyclops" and Damian acknowledges her existence.

Damian & Nora Ew, a regular? Ugh, is he trying to make her not like him? Probably not. Cuz it's working. Because befriending Nora is too hard. She may not mind the lack of conversation, but attempting to get her to do her job? Unforgivable. How dare he. So Nora probably won't like him, just based on his constant presence rather than himself. so I guess slightly probably one-sidedly negative acquaintances does work. Just expect reluctance to comply and sass. Then again almost everybody gets that, so what's really new here? Answer: Nothing.
