Born in Primula, Avery is the only son of his two very human parents. When it was revealed that he was a magical being, he was quickly disowned by his parents, who viewed magic as a taboo subject - and thus, was sent to live with his aunt, who too is a magical being. As such, he has a very poor relationship with his parents, rather bitter because he feels that he was "tossed aside". He's secretly bitter of others who have close relationships with their parents, but doesn't let his feeling of lonelyness impact him much. Growing up as your typical child, he attended primary and secondary school, doing very well - especially in subjects related to science and english. His magical capabilities were kept secret and to be frank, he never had much aptitutde when it came down to magic, much to the annoyance of his aunt.
Deciding not to continue with his education once he finished secondary school (he claimed school was too "dull"), Avery decided to get a job as a delivery boy. Always afflicted with a bad case of wanderlust, his job as a delivery boy allows him to chatter with people and travel everywhere - two of his favorite things. Constantly on the go, it's not uncommon to see Avery literally everywhere, delivering mail, goods, and other packages for all sorts of people.
