[atrb=style,background-color: #E2E2E2; padding: 15; width: 220;] ▸ friends, hisashi isn't really great with making friends. he keeps to himself and is very anxious and uncomfortable around new people. however, if someone could talk to him through his anxiety and understand the pace at which he forms bonds, he could get along with virtually anyone - he sees the joy in people and becomes enamored with their personalities. he may show intense annoyance but anyone willing to stick it through is worthy of his friendship. enemies, i don't really see him having many enemies, but more so people that don't get along well with him. his agitated and anxious personality might come off as rude to others so perhaps someone may just not like him due to that. he does have a temper, so if prodded enough, arguments could fly. lovers, understandably, it would be very difficult for hisashi to fall in love; he himself doesn't really see it happening. however, that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't want it to happen. he would very much so be attracted to someone that is the polar opposite of himself: where he is anxious and impatient, the other is carefree and outgoing. someone to balance out the negative parts of himself would be ideal. hisashi has the capability to be deeply passionate about someone if given the opportunity. others, hisashi has no playable family members, but there is an opening for an apprentice at the apothecary. if you're interested in working beneath him then that's an option!

You know those high schoolers that try everything they can that could get them in trouble? Donovan is one of them. He'd associate 'herbs' with 'possible hallucinogens', and would probably go into Hisashi's shop to try and get something under the table. I imagine it would be kind of confusing for him if he was like 'So do you sell...anything else?' if he doesn't. Even if Hisashi says he doesn't, Donovan would probably think he's just trying to keep it from him since he's a kid, so he'd pester him several times and tell him to name any price and he could pay it. Entitled rich brat is entitled. I apologize. xD

haha that would totally send him for a loop. i think hisashi totes has some herbs that could send someone on a trip (that he probably keeps for himself) so if donovan came in asking for them he'd pretend that he has none. maybe donovan could potentially pry them from him through friendship or blackmail or whatever rich boys use to get what they want :u

Since he is indeed a rich boy, he'd mostly try to bribe him. But if that didn't work, he might actually befriend him. Start showing up at the apothecary and hanging out there for hours. It's pretty easy to see him being there so often that he ends up learning a lot about the shop and starts pointing things out when people ask for them. He may even become real friends with Hisashi (well, from his side anyway, not sure about Hisashi), which is super rare for him cause he doesn't like anyone. xD

i could definitely see all of that. it would be hard to bribe hisashi since he doesn't want much more than what he already has (he's a simple guy) so friendship between the two, however unlikely, would be fun and interesting for them. hisashi definitely needs a buddy and since neither of them are really the friendship types, them bro-ing up would be kind of hilarious.

i would love to do a teacher/apprentice thread. c: they are very different characters so it will be interesting to see where it goes. i can see hisashi growing a soft spot for haruka over time, even if he may initially be annoyed by her clumsiness.

hisashi makes me want to cuddle him and give him tea therefore i must plot with him. uh hum! blanche probably ran over to hisashi hoping he'd whip up some magic memory potion for her so that she wouldn't have problems anymore but of course her problem is untreatable for now. however that doesn't mean she won't keep coming back hoping that one day he'll make something that will work. long story short little blanche here will become a guinea pig of sorts. anyway blanche will love him because he's trying to help her which is amazing in her eyes.

substitute tea for coffee and hisashi it totes your man for the job. he would become so engrossed in his job to create a cure for blanche's memory loss. he might seem kind of hard on the exterior but in reality he's all goo in the middle, so if blanche was trusting him to one day help her, he would seriously take it as one of his life goals. he wouldn't wanna let her down. i'm sure the two of them could become really close uwu

yaay~! close buddies. i do have a feeling that after a while she'd just start lying about things so he won't leave. if something actually worked she'd probably said it didn't so she could just spend more time with him. blanche hates being upfront about things so she'd just sneak around to get what she wants. though she'll bother him about the smoking since she doesn't want him to get sick, and be unhappy, and die. hmm it's funny how negative she can get. if you want to thread i'll start.

valdis and hisashi

Unfortunately for Hisashi, Val likes to skip right through the pending stages of friendship and go for the 'best friends' forever sort of deal. Predictably unpredictable and extremely eccentric. I can see her coming by his shop for herbal blends to make her cosmetics, which may be a dreaded event because she likes to ask about each element and put her fingers in everything. A walking panic attack for Hisashi. She would love to be his friend, but I fear the experience would sooner kill him than benefit him in any way.

elijah and hisashi

Eli is probably a regular customer of Hisashi's. Not does he roll his own cigarettes, but he's trying to find a better means of coping with stress instead of succumbing to alcohol every night. I think these two could actually get along rather well after a regular professional relationship was established between them. They are both rather anxious and are slow to warm up to people, but true once they make that connection. They'd be good support? for each other. Not to mention that if Hisashi needs something repaired, he can just call Eli up and he'll be right over.

haha, definitely a dreaded event! hisashi would treat her with a lot of annoyance on his side of things, but regardless of that he's always secretly a bit pleased to spend time with people. even if she could be the death of him, there would be no doubt that hisashi could eventually care about her.

i reaaaally want a best friend for hisashi, and i think someone like elijah would be really fitting for the position. like you said, they're a lot a like, and starting a professional relationship between them would work well for them to ease into each other. a good support is exactly what hisashi needs in a bro.
