visiting cecilia sinclair
Visiting people in dreams was easy enough for Ceres, even if it was still a little painful. The slow-acting poison that was devouring her essence was progressing, and while she could still use her magic she didn't know how much longer she would last. The darkness that she could see overtaking Primula was becoming worse, all of it stemming from that vile god that was killing her and the land.
Some people in Primula had troubled pasts. She knew vague things about the people that lived on her land, not very specific details but she knew their names and little things about their lives. If she was healthy she would know them all quiet well, but with her sickness her omniscience had dwindled.
Still, she knew about Cecilia. She knew the girl came from a land riddled with bad spirits and creatures and she felt bad for her, understanding what it was like to have to live among imps and demons. Ceres wished the girl could have moved to a more peaceful land, as Primula had been in the past, but maybe she could help restore the peninsula to its former glory.
Traveling to Cecilia in a dream, she painted the girl's subconscious a calming, soft white. It was her favorite dreamspace, as it didn't just calm the person she visited but it was calming to her as well. She could make herself brighter and she could make herself glow, even though she couldn't hide the deterioration behind her once full and vivacious face and lively eyes.
Sitting on the ground, she looked out to one side, seeing a blurred figure coming towards her. It must be the girl she was visiting. A small smile graced her lips and her melodious voice rang out into the dreamspace.
"Hello, Cecilia, I've been expecting you," she said softly, relaxing on a soft expanse of the walls, all of it melding together in calm white.
