BACKGROUND INFORMATION No one would have thought that he and his siblings were the kinds of people who would come from such a strange past. But the matter of the fact was that they did. Tae-young was the youngest of the quadruplets, coming in last after his sister, Ji-hye. He grew up in Busan, South Korea. It was the place where his family was situated and as far as the Ahn family went, it was the perfect place to live. Their life was normal. They were happy. That was, at least, for a time. Unbeknownst to the children of the family, their parents were working with underground connections in order to make sure that they would be able to support their four children for the rest of their lives. It was a difficult enough endeavor with just trying to raise one child at a time after all. Let alone four all at once. They hid under the radar and while they did not come home as often as they would like, they were around their children enough for none of them to suspect anything. Their parents just had to work later because they cared about them. That was all they knew. It had been a few short months after that some strange men had broke into their house. Tae-young remembers little of it, though what he did remember was not pleasant. He remembered hearing his parents' screams and his eldest brother rushing out of their shared bedroom with a baseball bat in hand. The red splattered across the walls, the shouts about something unfamiliar to him then. Such a strange and simple word like 'debt' had changed everything. And he remembers seeing and feeling hot red and orange, the flickering embers. He remembers a big table falling but not completely over him and his siblings. He remembers crying and he remembers the searing heat that ran across his fingers and hands. And he remembers running. It wasn't until he was older than he understood what had happened completely anyways. His parents owed a debt and the thugs had come to collect what they owed. Song-min had released a flame so bright and the intensity of the flames enough to bring the entire house down, crushing and killing both the thugs and their parents if there had ever been a chance that they had survived in the first place. For a time, they had done nothing but run. One city to the next. One family member to the next and they were passed along just like that. Eui, his eldest sister, had gotten kidnapped once upon a cold night. He isn't sure what had happened to her but it didn't seem like the kind of thing that was appropriate to ask at that point in time. It would be a while longer before Song decided that it was no longer safe to stay in the country if they wanted to live and thus, he and his siblings stowed away on the first boat out of the country and arrived in Primula around the time that they were fourteen. It has been two years since their arrival and the four of them, since then, have seemed to settled down into this peaceful life of theirs. Not that they have much of any other choice. extra - Tae-young is in denial about what had happened to him and his family. He refuses to believe that his parents had ever been involved with the Korean mafia and that they were attacked. Despite being aware of the fact that was why their parents are no longer with them and that they had been chased out of the country because of it, Tae-young refuses to admit the truth of the matter to anyone. Including his family and himself. - He used to play the piano when he was younger. However as a result of his injuries, he no longer is able to play for long periods of time without his hands hurting afterwards. He may at most play a minute or two before his scars will ache. - Tae-young has long hair. He used to cut it but at this point, he sees no real reason to do it anymore. His hair falls to just below his shoulder blades. It is commonly tied up in the summer and let down in the winter. It depends on the weather for the day mostly. - He actually is very unsure about his sexuality. While he claims that he likes boys, he only says that because of a crush on a teacher when he was in the first grade. The teacher just happened to be male, so he assumes that is the case. It is still up to question, however. Although, any crushes he has had thus far doesn't seem to have strayed from that. ooc NAME: kanrasaurus!! CHARACTERS: aveline, vivian, and noel.
