history
from the beginning, demitri had always been alone. and for no real reason either. he had only been three years old when his life became two parts left alone and one part unwanted. his parents had never been rich to begin with and had more children than they could manage. they were magical yes but it was hardly as though magic could solve even those troubles. he was abandoned to the forest as a child and for a time was expected to die. a woman found him though. a particularly strange and kind of woman.
and upon realizing that the child was magical, she stole him away to her own household. to raise him as his family would not. he grew up there for a time and although magical beings were not disliked at the time, the woman convinced the child of such a thing. she would refuse to let him leave and he never once protested. he hadn't realized that the woman was a little bit insane. but as most children did, he hit something of a rebellious phase and tried to run away. only to be stopped by the woman again. forcing him to silence.
eventually, she grew more and more deranged before demitri finally had enough and ran off in the dead of night. he found himself being picked up again by another stranger named gabriel who introduced him as a wizard. with some difficulty, the man finally was able to convince him to go with him. from there forward, he lived a relatively normal life. he eventually gained full control of his abilities before wandering off and making his own way. only problem with that is... he had no idea where to go.
he found himself in primula town, working the first job he could get his hands on. he continues to live there, working as a waiter in the local inn. he also hides his 'gift' out of compulsive fear of everyone because of his 'mother'. how are you even supposed to talk to people after running around in the forest for your whole life? send help. he has no idea what he's doing.

- basically he's spent his entire life in the forest. the lady that raised him for most of his childhood kept him pretty locked up from the rest of the world. and gabriel kept him away in case he would hurt someone.
- he has zero to no social skills. like how do you even talk to a person? he has no idea and is prone to running away when it comes to his job or being near anyone.
- he tries not to let people see him outside of work. it's almost embarrassing to be seen and needless to say, he clings to almost everything to hide.
- he has a very minor case of ocd. he hates it when things are out of order and compulsively cleans everything up to his standards. needless to say, dealing with the dinner rush makes him more nervous than he needs to be.
- he has a pet cat that he named rii. cats can't judge him. can they?
