TAGGED: Jane ANOTHER DAY... It wasn't easy being normal. As far as normality goes, it was an undefined thing that changed between conceptions. There were as many states of normality as there were states of abnormality. This made it hard for Eric to pick a persona when talking to others. He'd often get caught up in trying to be more like a person the other would accept than being himself. This is why, in the end, he opted to not be around others. It was too much work and too stressful on him. He hated the feeling of other people constantly judging him and scrutinizing every last detail about him. It was the same way those people had looked at him. He'd never been able to live up to his family's name, always being seen as 'unimpressive' in comparison to his brothers. This was why he was here in the first place. Where exactly? Even he didn't really know, and he'd been living here for about a year. Having kept mostly to himself, he hadn't been caught up in many of the traditions that they had tried to push upon him. At the end of the day, all he knew was he was living some place called Sepalum peninsula. He had successfully jump started Melody Ranch and started a Delivery business on the side, being the only employee of either enterprise stopped him from expanding his businesses and made his ventures into a more local radius, but even having been able to do everything he had with both was impressive... In his book at least. For a year, he'd been making his rounds and already had something of a client base within town. Really, he was glad to supply people with necessities for living. Anything that would make life more bearable in a slowly developing town. He couldn't help, though, that most the people here were around his age. It was true, there were the occasional jumps in age range, but they stayed about the same-- newly independent adults. Not that he really ever thought much of it since he hadn't the time to really talk to anyone anyway. With two jobs, he could hardly find time for himself that he hadn't scheduled in weeks before. Today was no different. A work day in the residential area of the town. A nice, crisp morning whose low hanging sun was starting to peek over the mountain attesting to how late in the morning it really was. Aside from the clopping sound of the Napoleon's hooves on the ground and occasional whinny from the horse's throat and the padding of Max's paws following up the rear in his proud duty of ensuring everything stayed on the cart during the trip, Eric found it to be relatively silent. Hmm... what day was it? He couldn't remember. Maybe today was Saturday? "Whatever." He sighed to himself, trying to distract himself from the nagging feeling like he was forgetting something. What was it..? It felt like he should know... | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=style, width:100px; background-color:#f1f1f1, bTable] |
