But at the same time it tugged on her heartstrings. The twenty-four year old was on her break and decided to take the time to walk around the town. Stopping momentarily at different shops here and there, but never going inside. Kolora knew that if she ended up walking into one of these stores that she would most likely come out with a bunch of items she was in no need of having. So her fingers intertwined with one another as she bit down on her lower lip. Silently promising herself that when she had more free time that she would come back and buy that one object or piece of food. While a content sigh left her tiny lips there was something that caught her eyes down the path. The twenty-four year old blinked a few times, noting that it was sparkling quite a lot. With no hesitation the female quickly made her way down the path already knowing the shop that always had items glistening from the crystal clear window. Kolora came to a stop looking at the entrance to the Jewelry shop, a small smile tingling on her lips signaling that she was the type of woman to enjoy things of this sort. But she didn’t barge into the store, instead she inched her way over towards the window display and admired the different types of accessories that came into view. “Oh, that one is really cute.” came her soft voice as her eyes lingered on a certain bracelet. Automatically her fingers brushed over her wrist wondering if it was the right size for her. This was something she always did when coming across this shop. Constantly staring into the window debating if she had enough money to buy that one bracelet. Kolora never walked into the store in order to try it on. There was a chance that the price would far too much for the nurse, which was why she just stuck to her window shopping. Little did she know it did look a bit silly to be staring into the window for so long. Face almost plastered against the glass her gaze went towards the earrings, necklaces, and even more bracelets that came into her view. “How did they even get all of this?” she asked to no one in particular. “I would just keep it all for myself.” she mumbled as her fingers brushed across the glass silently marking the previous bracelet that she wanted. “I’m going to get you one of these days.” |
