While not unfriendly, she does tend to stick to what is familiar to her, and tends to not go out of her way to meet new people. If she meets someone while she's in town, that's awesome, but she often doesn't seek anyone out in particular. During her entire life, I'd imagine she'd have a few really good, close friends, and those are welcomed, but as she gets older and more responsible, she just loses track of time and often forgets about having a social life. Someone just needs to liven her up a bit. and the greatest of enemies, It is not unheard of for Elyse to have enemies. She mostly keeps her feelings to herself, but she has felt animosity toward certain people before. She has a distaste for lechers and womanizers, as well as women who are very promiscuous. Casual sex is just not her cup of tea, and she judges those that engage in it. There are others who may not like her, as well. She may seem prudish, or even her soft temperament could get on people's nerves. She's often the victim of bullying, or was in her past. and lost so many loves, Elyse is not new to love, but she does not openly seek it out. She had a lover once; but it ended in heartache and she has been bitter about relationships ever since. I'd love for someone to be her ex-lover. As for future relationships, we'll just have to see what blossoms. But I will hold on hope And I won't let you choke On the noose around your neck And I'll find strength in pain And I will change my ways I'll know my name as it's called again

elk what an angeeeel it's pidge with her little self-loathing rancher james! here's a rancher i've got some ideas here because i love this polite gal

james is pretty well-mannered too but they vary TONS of ways in their politeness! while elyse is a lovely balance of social awkwardness and timidity james' manners are more a ham-handed mix of horrible amounts of well-meaning and energy. the only way i can really think to describe them clashing is maybe when two really polite people try and open the door for each other and spent afters going "after you" to each other ok that's that

ok i'll try and phrase stuff more seriously! james is totally new to the place and he'd definitely hold out a friend of friendship because he desperately tries to be a good person like that. they're both ranchers so i think he'd see it as a good thing they know each other; ranchers gotta have each other backs, y'know!

however, she might be put off by his terrible enthusiasm especially if she's timid. at any rate, he'll definitely be coming by her shop! he has, uh, something things to do with flowers and he'll have really specific requests 8) would she be able to help with that?

I would love to have these two interact. ♥ It'd be great for them to have a casual meeting outside of her home, for that is where she deals with her flower business. Since she owns a ranch herself, she doesn't have the time to open a full-fledged shop for flowers and flower arrangements... But I am definitely open to her helping him with some flower requests! I think they'd definitely have a cute chemistry going on!
