Some say that Donovan was not only born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but gifted the silver spoon by his parents who had it hand crafted by blind monks in the mountains of the richest country in the world. His mother, a talented and boistrous opera diva, married young to a business tycoon who was twice her age. Every time they tell the tale of their meeting it gets more and more ridiculous romanticized. At one point, when the story was true, they told him they had met at a party after her best performance ever. They said it was fate making her do her best for her future husband. But now, they tell of desperate eye contact mid high note, they talk about the flower petals raining down between them at the end of the show, and they talk about how everyone in the crowd knew they were destined for one another.

His father bought them a house ten times to big for a large family, which meant there was plenty of space for the three of them plus the help. He didn't only have a bedroom--he had an entire wing. Nothing but the best private schools would suit Donovan, and so he grew up to be just as spoiled and 'refined' as his mother. When they announced that they would be building a summer home on the Sepalum Penninsula, his world dramatically died. It's such a small mansion, almost a house, and his parents seem to think it's wonderful when really it isn't. There are no maids here. There isn't a servant of any kind in sight. He's been trying to hire one, but what kind of servant with half a mind would move all the way to such a backwoods little place?

• Donovan has a nasty habbit of calling everyone around him a 'pig farmer', because he's an awful spoiled rich boy who stereotypes people. He doesn't...mean it to be offensive? He means it almost as a stay-away-from-me-poor-people tactic. He doesn't even realize how rude it is, because he's so spoiled he believes he shouldn't have to edit himself.
  
• He's always tip toeing through town as though he's afraid to get his shoes dirty. I'm sure it's tempting to push him into the dirt just to see how high pitched his horrified squeels could get.
  
• His family owns a large yacht that they keep in a little niche off the coast. He would offer to let people come aboard with him, but they would have to take off their shoes to keep their country dirt off the expensive carpet.
  
• He likes for people to compliment him on his appearance. A lot. It's why he spends so much time on it. If you tell him he's attractive, he's much less likely to insult you on purpose. However, he also wants you to understand that he doesn't go for pig farmers, so your compliments won't get you anywhere.
  
• Yeeaaah, he's a really awful person. I hope to write out his progression into being less of a prissy twit. xD
