[atrb=valign, top] Oh god, friends. Friends. What even is that to Frederick? At best, his friends are his books at home or the ones he takes care of at the library in the Town Hall. He is someone that is very hard to please, however, other magical beings have a bit of an easier time getting him to be cordial beyond what he normally gives, but he still has that condescending air about him when it comes to humans. To him, they're naive, sometimes mildly interesting bugs that don't ever live long enough to understand just one thoroughly. Perhaps some of them can change his mind, but when it comes to friends he is dedicated to show that he does care deep down for the few that manage to get past his shell and into his squishy kuudere insides. When you manage to get to that point, having intellectual conversations and frequent invitations to his home is expected and secretly, he does fret over having everything perfect for guests which can be interpreted as 'adorable'. As he was centuries ago, he is loyal to those who gain his trust and respect. For the moment, he has much trust in the mayor and his family. Items that will gain his favor is beef stew, wine, books he hasn't read before and dapper clothing that fits his style. He'd be secretly tickled. I can't imagine him having many enemies from his past, most were human and most like all of them do, die out eventually. Those who were magical he merely avoids and silently rejoices when they kicked the bucket out of carelessness. Enemies are usually dealt with in a manner that involves ignoring them since most enemies try and find a way to break the walled up wizard that is Frederick with little results. Obviously, he doesn't like rule breakers, so most of those sorts end up here quickly as well as humans with a particularly annoying quirk to them. (Which is like...everything.) Out of everything, this is the easiest group to fall into. Love, who would want to love this man? He's a smart-mouthed, condescending magical being with a clear dislike of humans and their frail-minded things they do on a daily basis. He hardly has time for such, though there were always some in the past that vyed for his heart, no doubt in his mind just entranced with his power and the moment he showed any kind of weakness they'd move on to another with the same qualities. He is very wary with love, always expecting someone to have underlying motives for them and not being genuine. The item that will send him into emotional pieces won't be revealed, but will be hinted upon if you can get it correctly.

She doesn't get people much and she tends to avoid eye contact simply out of habit. Not sure if they would be friends or not so I'll just set her here for you to plot with~

Okay, so I have a great plot idea actually. I saw the male plot you put up as a wanted ad and figured that perhaps Frederick can be the unlikely 'hero' of her dreams and frequently hangs out at the library reading, but also trying to know more about him? It'd be insanely adorable I'd say because he's someone people never expect to be the desirable soul mate that she may think he is.

Anyway, it's up to you, I just thought it'd be extremely humorous to try it out.

Artemis probabl knows him as an old family friend at the very least, and they've probably talked on occasion. How close they are can be up to you, though I could see Artemis being pretty friendly with him.

Artemis isn't much of a reader, so if she stops by the library, it'd more likely be to chat than to grab a book. However, maybe Frederick could convince her to read one or two, though there are no guarantees she'd finish them. Maybe in return she could help him with his technology troubles from time to time.

Haha, that'd certainly be interesting I think. Frederick, naturally having respect for her father, would treat her with a bit more dignity and understanding than to other women. Of course, he'd take the role of teacher for her, wanting her to learn to read and enjoy books as much as he does. Course, it would be a fair trade to have her teach him how to use a phone and like doing it at the same time.

Their relationship and conversation will surely be pretty funny I bet!

Artemis probably treats him with a bit more respect than she treats most people as well. So she'd probably listen to him when he'd try to suggest books for her. I can see him trying to get her to read the classics and such, but the language ends up confusing her way too much, and whenever he'd try to explain it, she'd just get even more confused, the poor thing.

(And I imagine their conversations about how to use the telephone would go about the same way, lol.)
